Victoria Pendleton admires Philip Sutton's jersey

Imgp2364

Here's iPayRoadTax jersey wearer Philip Sutton on Sunday's Skyride in Birmingham. He managed to grab a shot with Victoria Pendleton.

Last year, before the All Party Parliamentary Cycling Group bike ride to Westminster, Victoria Pendleton said she "loved" the iPayRoadTax jersey. Like many other cyclists, no doubt she has been on the receiving end of the "get out of my way, you don't pay road tax" refrain.

As he wore his jersey on a sportive, Philip qualifies for a £25 discount voucher to be spent on Foska.com, maker of the iPayRoadTax jerseys.

These jerseys are available in Evans Cycles, other fine stores and, of course, online on iPayRoadTax.com.

Jersey used in Tate Modern 'sleep in' to protest against BP

Anais Regeon has got in touch and told iPayRoadTax.com about what she's been up to in her jersey:

"I got my shirt through the post on Saturday, it looks amazing, and I have been wearing it intensely since :)

"I get strange looks from people on foot and drivers at the wheel, but cyclists give me a smile and a nod, it is great!

"I even took my shirt to the Tate Modern, where we staged a "sleep in" to commemorate the Deepwater Horizon disaster and voice our disagreement regarding the BP sponsoring of the arts. I thought a zero emission shirt was appropriate in those circumstances."

Thanks, Anais!

As with all those who photograph the iPayRoadTax jersey at events (normally sportives and Critical Masses, mind), Anais qualifies for a £25 e-voucher to spend on our jersey partner, Foska.com. Maybe we should send a voucher to the AA's Edmund King? The president of the motoring organisation has a black jersey and wears his on MTB rides.

Foska currently has free shipping on jerseys. With the warm weather with us for the next few days, and perhaps more, now is the perfect time to make sure you're kitted out with a black or white iPayRoadTax jersey.

Paul wears his jersey at architect's conference

Paul Wilkinson of the specialist PR firm PWCOM of London doesn't just wear his iPayRoadTax jersey while out on his bike. It can be formal wear, too.

He wore the jersey last week in Birmingham at the Be2Camp conference for landscape architects.

And here is the live action version on YouTube.

As with all those who photograph the iPayRoadTax jersey at events (normally sportives and Critical Masses, mind), Paul qualifies for a £25 e-voucher to spend on our jersey partner, Foska.com.

Jersey sighted at MTB marathon event

Grassington_016

This is Simon Clegg, sporting his iPayRoadTax jersey at the Grassington round of the CRC Mountain Bike Marathon last week.

Thanks for the pic, Simon. All members of the iPayRoadTax Team get a £25 voucher to spend on Foska.com. Becoming a team member is easy: buy a jersey, then wear it at a sportive, Critical Mass or other big bike event. Take a pic, send it in for it to be shared on our iPhone app, and your voucher will wing its way to your email box.

Frances takes jersey on London's Critical Mass

Thanks to Frances Chaloner for wearing her iPayRoadTax jersey on last week's Critical Mass ride in the centre of London. Frances is the Cycling Development Officer at the CTC, editor of the rather brilliant i-Contact, CTC's eNewsletter for cycle instructors.

Frances said:

"I was filmed by some students at the start. I made sure I mentioned the jersey and iPayRoadTax.com and what it was all about. I also got a radio interview and gave iPayRoadTax a good plug to them too.

"The jersey has been much admired at work (CTC head Office in Guildford). They thought it looked better than they had expected from the promo photos! It caught the eye of a few massers, too. The media students who interviewed me were very keen to know more."

The jerseys are currently in short supply, with the most popular sizes sold out on Foska.com. Retailers, such as Evans Cycles, may have physical stock. The next batch of jerseys available to buy online should be arriving in mid-June. Grab them while you can, we're on our third run and they sell out quickly. There's a 'notify me when available' button on Foska.com.

To those who take pix of themselves wearing iPayRoadTax jerseys on sportives, Critical Mass rides or other large events, you can get on this Team iPayRoadtax Posterous site (which feeds in to the team page on the iPhone app) and as an added bonus you get a £25 voucher for spending on Foska.com.

Do I qualify for the £25 Foska voucher?

No, I don't. However, if you take part in a Sportive, or a Critical Mass, or other big event, and wear your iPayRoadTax.com jersey, take a pic, send it in, you will get a discount voucher to use on Foska.com.

The pic - by Andrew Kennedy - is from last Sunday's Fred Whitton Challenge. 112 miles through the English Lake District, finishing with two super-tough climbs, Hardknott and Wrynose. Brutal. But I'll be back next year.

iPayRoadTax team expands to USA

Meet Dan. Dan is the first American to send us a jersey-wearing pic.

Danrosen
Sending in his shot (hope that Mini has UK 'car tax', Dan...) he said:

"This is the Milwaukee-area iPayRoadTax contingent getting ready to head out for a ride."

Dan is Dan Rosen, author of Dope: A History of Performance Enhancement in Sports from the Nineteenth Century to Today.

He loves his iPayRoadTax jersey. The black one might soon be joined by a white one, "for the heat of summer," said Dan.

The white one will be cheaper than the black because Dan qualifies for a £25 voucher for Foska.com. Normally this voucher is provided to those who send in shots of the jersey on group rides, such as Critical Masses or sportives (Gran Fondos, for our American readers), but we've waived this requirement for Dan because he's the first member of the American branch of the iPayRoadTax team.

iPayRoadTax jersies are available from 36 branches of Evans Cycles, Dorchester Cycles, Rutland Water Cycling and, of course, the iPayRoadTax.com shop.

Kelly is first member of iPayRoadTax team

Ipayroadtaxnunuboogie

First, that is, to get a pic published on this here Posterous. And first to be able to claim a £20 voucher to spend on Foska.com.

Kelly - known as Nunuboogie on Twitter - rode the Hell of the North Cotswolds at the weekend. It looked like a muddy event. Well done for finishing, Kelly, and thanks for sending in the pic.

Foska make great jerseys and know how to look after their customers: anybody who buys a £45 iPayRoadTax jersey and sends us a pic wearing it at a sportive or other big bike event gets a £20 voucher.

As well as appearing on this Posterous, the iPayRoadTax team pix appear on the team section of the iPayRoadTax iPhone app and on iPayRoadTax.com
